Wed, 04 Apr 2007 CyberPhone-W
- Manufacturer: VoipVoice
- Pros: Cheaper than a wireless handset, good integration with Skype on your Mac
- Cons: No wireless option, poor manual
- Price: £36
- Star rating:

It plugs into a USB port on your Mac and then works just like an ordinary telephone handset. You can dial phone numbers on the CyberPhone’s keypad, or use the extra buttons on the handset to quickly select telephone numbers from your Skype Contacts list.
The CyberPhone-W works well with Skype, and we liked the way that it uses the ‘genie’ effect to push Skype down into the Dock as soon as you hang up the phone. However, it’s a bit annoying that there’s no dialling tone, as you can’t tell whether the call has gone through until someone actually picks up the phone at the other end.
