Live coverage from Apple's Education Event from New York begins today at 3:00pm GMT.

Macworld's Dan Frakes and lex Friedman will report live from the event, which is expected to focus on enhancements to iBookStore and Newsstand aimed specifically at the education market. It is also rumoured that Apple will announce a new software package that enables publishers and writers to easily deploy feature-rich book applications to iOS devices.
