It’s amazing. People I know who used to laugh at Apple are buying Macs!

That’s right - the people who wouldn’t take the Mac seriously before are actually buying Macs. And not just buying Macs, they are fighting with the powers-that-be where they work, convincing them to buy them Macs!

I've got an iPhone...

I've got an iPhone... but it's from Linksys, not Apple. And before I unpackaged it, I wouldn't have even known it was an iPhone if Linksys hadn't told me.

The Cisco-owned big kahuna of home networking announced the iPhone on Monday as the brand for its line of VoIP-based handsets and accessories, including some dating back a couple of years. Asked about a possible conflict with a rumoured Apple product, a Linksys PR contact emailed me the company's official statement:

Launch a 12-inch MacBook Pro Apple, please...

My 12-inch PowerBook has just turned three years old and it’s really struggling these days.

With its 1GHz PowerPC G4 processor and 512MB of RAM it seems to have given up the ghost running iPhoto recently, let alone PhotoShop.
