Macworld contributing editor David Pogue is the weekly personal-technology columnist for the New York Times and an Emmy award-winning tech correspondent for CBS News. With 3 million books in print, he is also one of the world's bestselling how-to authors. He wrote or co-wrote seven books in the "For Dummies" series (including Macs, iMac and iBook) as well as celebrated 'Macworld Mac Secrets'; in 1999, he launched his own series of computer books called the Missing Manual series, which now includes 30 titles.
Andy Ihnatko is a Boston-based geek and writer. He's The Chicago Sun-Times' Technology columnist, as well as Macworld magazine's hilarious back-page opinion guy, and his writings also appear in Playboy, Yahoo! Internet Life, and CNN.com. Andy owns two goldfish named Click and Drag. He is the author of numerous technology books, including 'The Mac OS X Tiger Book' (Wiley, 2005), 'The iLife Book', and the 'Random House Cyberspeak Dictionary'.

Deke McClelland is a popular expert and lecturer on Adobe Photoshop and the larger realm of computer graphics and design. He serves as host to the interactive "Video Workshop" CD that ships with Photoshop CS2 as well as the exhaustive and entertaining DVD, Total Training for Adobe Photoshop CS2. He has written more than 80 titles translated into 25 languages with 3 million copies in print.
One of the most award-winning writers in the business, Deke won the Benjamin Franklin Award for Best Computer Book in 1989. Since then, he has received more than 20 honours, including seven independent citations from the Computer Press Association. He is an Adobe Certified Expert, a member of the PhotoshopWorld Instructor Dream Team, and a contributing editor for Photoshop User magazine. In 2002, Deke was inducted into the National Association of Photoshop Professionals' Photoshop Hall of Fame.

Martin Evening is a London-based professional photographer working mainly for fashion and beauty clients - recently he has worked for Schwarzkopf, Red or Dead, Pierre Balmain, and Clipso. A founder member of the UK Digital Imaging Group, he is the author of the best-selling 'Photoshop for Digital Photographers', the only Photoshop book written to deal directly with the needs of photographers.

Steve Caplin is a freelance graphic artist specializing in satirical photomontage, and beta tester for Adobe software. His work appears in The Guardian, Independent, and Radio Times. He is the author of 'How to Cheat in Photoshop', 'Icon Design' and ‘The Complete Guide to 'Digital Illustration'.
Before joining Quark, design guru Dan Logan worked on projects for clients including Wired magazine, Toyota and Samsung. Since then, he designed the QuarkVista picture-effects Xtension for XPress 6.5. As Product Architect, Dan and his team are hard at work finalizing QuarkXPress 7.0.
