Anorak Magazine, billed as the happy mag for kids, has released an application 'Happy,' for iPhone and iPod touch.

The application created by iPhone and Flash developer On Sea and designed by Supermundane, promises stories, games, word searches and drawings.

Other highlights include, Greedy Greg who tells you all about weird vegetables, Gardens of Mayland, where flowers have personality and the Three-Eyed Dog comes from space but it can draw.

Happy also includes 'Whack-an-Anorak,' when Anorak’s head pokes out and you have to bash him with your fingers to score points, along with an happy cycling game.

"We are super excited about this new chapter in our Anorak adventures. Whilst we are fiercely proud to be a paper magazine, the iPhone is a truly inspiring platform and the application gives us the opportunity to stretch our wings in the area of learning through play by becoming truly interactive," said Cathy Olmedillas, Anorak Magazine’s founder in a press release.

Available from the Apple iTunes App Store, Anorak Magazine's Happy application costs £1.19 and requires the iPhone 3.0 Software Update or later.
