Sorry, Android fans, looks like you'll have to wait a little longer to hear more about the Nexus 4 and the Nexus 10. Google has cancelled its Monday morning event in New York City because of safety concerns related to Hurricane Sandy, which is expected to hit the island in the next few days.
On Friday New York Governor Andrew Cuomo declared a state of emergency, and the venue where Google had scheduled the event is now in an evacuation zone.
Google alerted event invitees of the cancellation with a brief message on Saturday afternoon, urging them to stay safe and dry and that the company would update them later.
Google was expected to take the wraps off several new pieces of hardware on Monday, as well as an updated version of Android, but it seems Mother Nature had other plans.
