Apple has been criticized for offering a 'stabbing game' for the iPhone in its App Store.
Slasher, which is made by a third party, plays the theme tune to the movie Pyscho and displays a cartoon image of a knife when the handset is moved in a 'stabbing' motion. Apple has now removed the app, which was available for 59 pence in the Entertainment section of its App Store.

Yes. I usually put them up on my #deviantart account for feedback on how to improve.RT @spialelo
However, its unclear how the app became available as Apple claims every game featured on the App Store must be checked by Apple to ensure it does not infringe its terms and conditions.
The discovery comes just weeks after Facebook was forced to remove a stabbing action from its SuperPoke application.

This is censorship. I cannot imagine why I would ever want to own this app. But I can s know reason why this daft, harmless cartoon image can do any more damage than staring daggers, or foam bricks or any other means of venting frustration at bosses, wifes, girlfriends, mates, colleagues, applestore assistants, customer helplines, post office queues, dawlding drivers, teenage sons and daughters, to name a few. What are we coming too!?
