Logitech has announced four new Mac and PC-compatible speaker systems, each equipped with “360-Degree Sound.”

Each of the four new systems sport omnidirectional acoustics, which Logitech bills as “360-Degree Sound” - technology which creates a wider “sweet spot” for the listener.

This helps you if you often move your computer around the home or office, according to Logitech. Speaker drivers face forward and backward in each satellite; this has the effect off transmitting sound more consistently over a wider range of space, according to the manufacturer.

The new systems include two new 2.1 systems - equipped with two satellites and a subwoofer. The Z523 includes two satellites and a 6.5-inch downfiring subwoofer, 40 watts (RMS) power and on-speaker controls.

The Z323 features 30 watts (RMS) power and a ported, downfiring subwoofer. Both speaker systems sport an integrated dual RCA jack and 3.5-mm jack to connect other peripherals, such as an iPod or a stereo audio component.

The Z520 and Z320 round out Logitech’s new offerings. Both are stereo speaker setups (without subwoofers). The Z520 features a two-way amplified design and 26 watts (RMS) power, while the Z320 has 10 watts (RMS).

All speakers systems are expected to be available in Europe in September. The Logitech Speaker System Z320 will be available for a suggested retail price of £49.99.

The Logitech Speaker System Z323 will be available for a suggested retail price of £59.99.

The Logitech Speaker System Z523 and the Logitech Speaker System Z520 will be available for a suggested retail price of £99.99.
