Tue, 18 Aug 2009 FotoInsight Designer 4.5 photo album software adds Mac, Linux support
Capable of creating a 130 page photo book lay-out in 3 minutes
Pan-European digital photo processing service FotoInsight has announced the addition of Mac and Linux support for its Designer 4.5 photo album software.
Available as a free download on the FotoInsight Web site, the software is capable of creating a 130 page photo book lay-out in under three minutes promise the makers.
The new software update adds photo albums processed on thick, lustre finish photographic paper pages, ranging from 26 to 82 pages, in steps of eight pages.
A new binding process is being used for the album pages, which are thicker than pages in CEWE Photobooks says FotoInsight. This allows the pages in an open photo paper album to lay flat, rather than bowing or arching up towards the spine.
With services across Europe, and UK offices in Cambridge, a FotoInsight Photo Book Square book (21 x 21 cm) starts from £ 24.99/€ 29.95.
FotoInsight Designer 4.5 requires Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard, Linux Kernel 2.6, glibc 2.6 or Windows 2000, XP, Vista.
