YuuWaa promises encrypted data transmission and automatic backup in just a few clicks
Digital security specialists Gemalto, has announced it's storage device YuuWaa is now Mac compatibie. YuuWaa combines a USB flash drive with software and secure online services for storing, backing up and sharing all types of multimedia data.
YuuWaa promises encrypted data transmission and automatic backup in just a few clicks with a simple drag and drop interface. YuuWaa users can also share data with a secure link for friends, family and colleagues.
YuuWaa is currently being offered in two versions for Mac users. The £9.99 YuuWaa Go is a 24GB option combining a 4GB USB flash drive with 20GB online capacity. The £19.99 YuuWaa Plus has 58GB, including 8GB on the USB flash drive and 50GB online. This price is for a limited period only insists Gemalto. YuuWaa is sold as a subscription service, which users need to renew to continue using.

The Mac compatible YuuWaa is available from Amazon.co.uk, Comet.co.uk, PCWorld.co.uk, Dixons.co.uk, Play.com, Misco.co.uk.
A free 30-day trial is now available at www.yuuwaa.com allowing anyone with a USB memory stick to try the service. The demo includes includes 2GB of online storage.
