Stylish handbag for iPad
- Manufacturer: LaCie
- Pros: Practical and stylish design; pockets and space for accessories
- Cons: Style might be a bit too handbag-like for guys
- Price: £22.99
- Star rating:
The LaCie ForMoa for iPad is a stylish handbag for carrying around an iPad. Due to its diminutive stature, the iPad has lent itself to many a "manbag" style carrying case, and the LaCie ForMoa sits firmly in this camp.
The LacIe ForMoa comes in five colours (we tested black) and has a dotted neoprene exterior. The iPad slots in the centre and a zip keeps it in place. On either side are two large pouches with velcro fasteners. Inside one of the pockets is a small zip pouch for an iPhone.
There are two carrying handles, which can be tucked inside turning it into a straightforward carry case; but no over the shoulder strap (which is partly what makes it look more girlish). In LaCie tradition a prominent designer, in this case Sam Hecht, is responsible for the design. Not that that's a bad thing. In fact, it's more practical than many of the other iPad cases we've tested, it's just not one for the boys.
