The basecover works with a number of accessories
The Table Stand is simple and affordable, but it’s also part of a series of interchangeable RingO stands that you can buy individually or together in larger kits.
The Table Stand consists of two parts. There’s a ‘basecover’ shell that clips onto the back of the iPad; this has a circular RingO bracket that’s used to connect the supporting arm. The RingO bracket can rotate, so it’s easy to switch between upright and widescreen positions. (There are different versions for the iPad 1 and 2, so make sure you get the right one.)
The support arm is very small and light – possibly a little too light, as it feels rather flimsy – so you can easily detach it and carry it with you, while still using the basecover as a protective shell for the iPad.
It’s also possible to use the basecover with Vogel’s wall-mount accessory and car pack. You can buy these individually or as an all-in-one kit for about £110.
