Hi all,

OK, I realise that you are all locked in your edit suites/bedrooms right now playing away with FCP4, and are unlikely to surface for a few weeks, but it would be nice for the 'rest of us' to have a bit more info rather than just 'it's great - I'm busy!'

Like....

What is the best new feature so far?
How does the RTextreme affect your workflow?
Have you tried soundtrack or livefonts or compressor?
What will make the biggest difference to your work?

etc. etc.

(do I sound too desperate for info??? )

Dave

davechalmers,

Although I'm keen to try out FCP4 I can't imagine the Post House I work for buying it for a good few months until all the inevitable bugs and problems are sorted out (think OSX and audio sync problems we had).

Maybe I'm being a tad pesemistic ? Are most professional users running it in tandem with FCP3 and still using the this for time critical jobs whilst getting to grips with FCP4's new features when timescales are a bit more relaxed?

More comments coming.

I'm just locked away for a couple of days.

Absolutely love Realtime Extreme. Yes it does affect my workflow in a very positive way. For example Gaussian Blur keyframed from completely out-of-focus to one hundred percent sharp - no problems. All in realtime. Love it.

More later,

Rick
