	How do I get a free .mac name for iChatAV ? I've tried opening a new .mac account in the preferences, but it asks for my visa card details. Dragonfly.

	Dragonfly, I signed up for the free 60 day trial. When it expired, it still allows you to keep your blah@mac.com ID for use in iChat. Note: This only lets you keep the ID for iChat - it won't let you use it as a proper email address.

	J.P., I was just going by another post, plus Steve said you could at the Keynote (QT 00:42:15), however it's not too well sign posted anywhere on the Apple site. It must be, as Gizzer said, you sign up for the 60 days trial, then you get to keep the name ? Or perhaps Steve meant free to subscribers ? Anyways, I'm on AIM now. Dragonfly.
