As you might have heard, Apple has unveiled its new iPhone. Most of the design and features of the iPhone 5 came as no surprise, due to the vast amount of leaks that surfaced prior to Apple's event on Wednesday.

What is your favourite feature of the iPhone 5? Is it the bigger display, improved camera, aluminium backplate, Lightning Dock Connector, or perhaps something else?

Let us know here.

Ashleigh Allsopp,
nothing in particular, but I think the sum of the new features make it a compelling purchase. The screen is the obvious big new feature, but all the others add to it, hence my "sum of the new features". I wish it was cheaper. I have a funny feeling Apple may introduce a 4.5" screen for the iPhone 5S or 6. It would give the iPhones a range that could really give Android another headache to worry about size wise. Not as though the current range isn't doing well, and it's becoming a two-horse race. With the also-runs, way, way behind, aka, RIM, Windoze. I look forward to getting my white iPhone 5 soon.

Ashleigh Allsopp,

Can't think of anything specific, the 4S wasn't exactly chunky and the extra vertical pixels are nice but not essential. It's still an amazing phone but the increase in 'degrees of amazing' are gradually tapering off, year on year.

I hope Apple already have their eye on a new puck and where that will be in 4 or 5 years time. There's a limit to what can be fitted into a mobile phone form factor.

A shame that Google street view will go from Maps.... hopefully Google will write something to replace that and the same with the YouTube app. RIP.

Also a bit disappointed that the 'amazing' 200 new features don't include switching on WebGL (already used in iAds and on Google chrome browsers / Android and can be activated in Jailbroken iOS devices). If you've got a modern Mac and Google Chrome, check out...

iOS is a lot more controlled than OS X. Really not keen on the whole Post PC era thing if I'm honest. Apple seem to have and want too much control over what we can and can't use these devices for, even though we've bought them. They don't want us to use this great technology while at the same time not offering an alternative.

I love Apple, but sometimes wish they'd be a bit more creative and exciting. Lots of evolution (higher res screens, thinner devices etc...) but very little in the way of real revolution of late.
