I just cannot capture into FCP HD. I had the same problem in my old version - but the problem has come across when I upgraded to HD. When I capture the window hangs - spinning beachbal of death and a restart is required. |

lynndaley, you have made some very basic mistakes I suspect, sorry not being rude. There is no seperate engine, you have somehow got the Capture set-up wrong BUT since you have thrown rather a lot away, I'm afraid that you really must do a complete and very clean re-install. FCP-HD is very fussy, more so than FCE because it is making sure that you have 100% accurate T/C all the time. Chucking Prefs is a waste of time, you must first fully understand what is happening for you, what you are trying to do, that may be contradicting your Prefs and Capture settings. |
