You can always expect features to be copied from OS to OS, but at least you could acknowledge where you took the inspiration from.
Take a look to ObjectDock, an osx dock-like taskbar for XP:

that said, that's pretty much the same apple did with the dashboard idea from Konfabulator...

kiko,

good spot - though I guess you could say that there is a ref to where the orig idea came from in that it has dock in the title

weird that their is an iCal icon in there - as i don't think there is a Windows version - makes me wonder if it is real

Except, of course, that both Dashboard and Konfabulator are essentially modern versions of Desk Accessories, found in the original 1984 Mac.

As for ObjectDock, I'd say James Thompson has as much to be angry about as Apple—one of the shots on that page is a clear DragThing rip-off.
