Apple used the high-profile Oscars ceremony to release its latest advertising campaign. No surprises for guessing which product was shown: the iPad.
The new ad shows several people's laps from a first-person perspective, with the iPad being used and all the features quickly demonstrated.
Like most Apple ads, there is no voiceover, just an audio track playing. In this case the music is There Goes My Love by The Blue Van.

The advert starts by showing photo, book reading, and internet functionality and even shows the more dry subjects such as calendar and email. Interestingly though, the advert didn't focus much on the iWork applications or any third-party apps, or games.

It did actually show someone working on a pages document, moving a picture of a snowboarder
