Wed, 23 May 2012 Snugg 2 in 1 Stylus and Writing Pen review
Smooth moving stylus for iPad, iPhone, iPod with ink pen for jotting notes in the traditional manner
With the increasing popularity of drawing games like Draw Something, iPad and iPhone owners are finding that they’re missing a crucial accessory to improve their scribbling skills.
The Snugg 2 in 1 Stylus and Writing Pen could be the ideal candidate to meet that need, and has the added bonus of a traditional writing pen and headphone jack attachment for safekeeping.
The Snugg stylus is a bargain tool for amateur artists, designers and busy note takers, but its rubberised tip lacks precision of more expensive alternatives such as the Adonit Jot Pro, so might not be ideal for the more serious iPad illustrator.
The tip is suitably bouncy, but firm enough to give the user good control. It’s lightweight and portable, but heavy enough to make using the stylus feel as natural as writing with a pen.

The ink pen on the opposite end of the stylus has a cap to prevent users from accidentally scrawling on their iPad with the wrong end. The cap can be positioned over the stylus end while writing on paper, but doesn’t snap into place so it has a tendency to fall off.
It has an easily replaceable cartridge, and is a pleasure to write with.
The stylus is available in silver, black or red.
