Thu, 24 Jul 2008 Localised Apple iPhone 3G ads blitz begins
Apple begins plugging the advantages of 3G...
Apple has begun placing a new series of three '3G' ads on TV networks worldwide.
The new run of advertisements aim to explain what 3G does and in what way it improves the company's mobile device.
The campaign features a hand operating an iPhone 3G while the narrator explains what a 3G network does, emphasis is firmly placed on speedy data transfers and downloads, and how this can speed web surfing or mail access.
The ads appear to be running internationally, and Apple has made certain elements of them different, localised for the market they are in. So ads run in the UK may use a UK map, while those in the US will feature a US map, for example.
You can see the US version of these ads here. The UK version, on the other hand, is visible on the Apple website here.
