With only 40 days to Christmas, Apple has a range of festive treats in store for iTunes App Store customers.

Among the new iPod and iPhone compatible apps are:

Sleeps to Christmas from Dardan Software (Free)
Watch snow fall around Santa as he counts down how many times you have to go to sleep before Christmas.

Christmas List from Better Day Wireless (£1.79)
Simplify and organise your holiday shopping with Christmas List. Its intuitive and user friendly design will not only keep track of the people on your list and their presents, but also notes and budget. You can even comparison shop and find the best price for whatever you are looking for with the tap of a finger.

Night Before Christmas - Talkie Book from LoL Software (£0.59)
