'Apple takes all the money', says ex-Disney boss Michael Eisner

Disney's former CEO Michael Eisner has accused Apple of taking all the money made by digital media distribution.

As reported on News.com, Eisner says digital media distribution is only at break-even, and accuses Apple of forcing film studios to agree to tight contracts. "The studios make deals with Steve Jobs, who takes them to the cleaners," Eisner said.

The last point is a reference to the Writer's Guild of America, which is currently striking in demand for a higher percentage of digital media distribution profits for its members, who write the scripts for films and television shows.

Eisner predicts digital media distribution will not become profitable for another three years.
