Apple faces renewed pressure to settle at least one patent-infringement suit currently placed against it, after one of the company's co-defendants in the case reached a settlement.

Klausner Technologies took out a lawsuit against Apple, AT&T and others in early December alleging that the Visual Voicemail feature of the iPhone infringed on patents held by the litigating company.

One of Apple's co-defendants in the case, SimulScribe, this morning said it had reached a settlement with Klausner Technologies and also entered into a licensing agreement to use the patents.

Klausner Technologies seeks $360m in damages.
