HP Lovecraft finds a backdoor into your iPhone
Spanish mobile games developer Digital Jokers has announced plans to bring a graphical adventure game based on H.P. Lovecraft's legendary series of horror fantasy titles to the iPhone.
The company announced plans to release "Call of Cthulhu: The Darkness Within" in September, which the company is adapting for the iPhone in conjunction with its subsidiary Mayhem Studio.
Call of Cthulhu follows the story of a group of archaeologists and paleontologists from Miskatonic University who are sent to explore the ruins of an ancient city that appear in the sands of Egypt following a violent earthquake. The game, billed as "the first graphic adventure for mobiles," is based on the award-winning role playing game published by Chaosium.
