Mon, 26 Jan 2009 CP Tones offers ‘pay what you want’ Apple iPhone ringtones
Electronic Ringtones Volume 1 is a collection of 45 ringtones
To coincide a website relaunch, RCP Tones is offering their latest ringtone album on a ‘pay what you want’ price structure.
Electronic Ringtones Volume 1 is a collection of 45 unique and sophisticated ‘normal’ ringtones mastered for the Apple iPhone and many other MP3 compatible mobile phones, says CP Tones.
RCP's electronic ringtones were performed on vintage analog synthesizers, described as carefully sequenced blips and beeps, but designed to sound appropriate on the latest mobile technology, claims CP Tones.
For a limited time users can download the ringtones for a "few bucks"or even free, depending on what they feel the ringtones are worth.
In 2007 Radiohead introduced a similar "pay what you want" scheme when ‘In Rainbows’ was released initially as a download.
In addition to the free album, RCP has a collection of business ringtones, ‘Ringtones for Business,’ that is available in the iTunes Store, Amazon, and directly at from the company’s website.
RCP's business ringtones fill the "regular-ringtone void" left by most mobile phone manufacturers, adds the company.

Why buy ringtones when you can make them yourself in GarageBand. You can Convert any song in your album into one!
