Rightmove, billed as the UK's number one property Web site for properties for sale and to rent has launched a new application for iPhone and iPod touch.

Rightmove App offers users the ability to search over a million properties for sale and to rent from the top estate agents and developers in the UK.

Rightmove App also offers the ability to call or email estate agents directly from your iPhone.

Use the iPhone's GPS functionality to find your exact location in the UK, and see the property for sale or rent wherever you are says the makers.

Users can also view full-screen colour property photos in a slideshow to gauge how a property might look before a visit or contacting the estate agent.

The application was designed and developed by 2ergo, a global mobile technology provider for marketing, business, entertainment and media.

Available from the Apple iTunes App Store Rightmove App is free and requires the iPhone 3.0 Software Update or later.

According to the company more than 90 per cent of all UK estate agents choose to be members of Rightmove and advertise their properties on the Web site.

Rightmove is also ranked in the Top 20 most popular websites in the UK ahead of well-known brands such as Yahoo and Friends Reunited.
