iSprint turns the users’ iPhone or iPod Touch screen into a 100 meter championship racetrack
Reebok and iPhone developer ustwo™ along with Inside Mobile have introduced iSprint, a free application for iPhone and iPod touch.
iSprint is billed as one of the first iPhone applications to offer multi-user competitive game play mode, whilst rewarding high scores with promotional discount codes for Reebok merchandise.
iSprint turns the users’ iPhone or iPod Touch screen into a 100 meter championship racetrack and offers a choice of four courses - indoor, outdoor, grass, and tarmac - on which players use their fingers as they would their feet to run and complete the race in the fastest time possible.
The game’s key feature is a two-player mode, which allows for direct competitive game play, one of the first iPhone apps to do so under the 3.0 operating system says the makers.
Two players can race each other simultaneously on separate iPhones by pairing the handsets via a Bluetooth connection. In addition to challenging other users, a player can compare their record time against the best times in the world via a global scoreboard.
As users improve their running speed and achieve target times, they can gain access to exclusive discount voucher codes on Reebok apparel and shoes to redeem on the www.reebok.com website. The faster the time achieved on iSprint, the greater the discount offered insists the makers.

Digital design studio ustwo™ developed the application in collaboration with leading mobile marketing agency Inside Mobile.
Available from the Apple iTunes App Store, iSprint ahead is free and requires the iPhone 3.1 Software Update.
A detailed Macworld profile of ustwo™ can be found here.
ustwo™ are the team behind hit iPhone applications including Steppin and MouthOff. The team recently released a free version of MouthOff, along with Ben 10 MouthOff based around the hit Cartoon Network show.
