Thu, 12 Nov 2009 Klipsch intros iGroove SXT docking speaker system for iPod, iPhone
Update works with newer Apple products
Klipsch has refreshed its iGroove SXT docking speaker system, which originally launched in 2007, to accommodate newer iPod and iPhone models, including the latest iPhone 3G S.
The iGroove SXT promises a true stereo sound system that employs dual long-throw 2.5-inch woofers in a ported enclosure and dual 19mm horn-loaded tweeters.
The SXT updates now comes bi-amplified, which means each driver is individually amplified, a feature that according to Klipsch virtually eliminates distortion and significantly improves sonic performance. Klipsch has also re-tuned the bass ports on the sides of the system to remove any "port noise."
The latest iGroove SXT accepts and charges any iPod with a 30-pin connector, while the iPod shuffle and other digital devices connect via a rear auxiliary input. An S-video output lets users view videos on televisions.
Klipsch has even added a 1000mA rapid charge circuit to the system, allowing users to quickly recharge their iPod, iPod touch or iPhone.
The Klipsch iGroove SXT docking speaking system has a SRP of £129.99, the same price as the dock it replaces, and available from www.klipsch.co.uk, www.amazon.co.uk and other retailers.
