UK post office workers are up in arms after management confiscated their shared iPod.

A story on the Northern Echo website looks at the sad plight of sorting office workers at a depot in Newcastle. Royal Mail management had originally handed over an iPod to be used communally by the workers as part of a scheme to make it better to work there.

However, one of the 100 workers – each of which were able to load a few tracks onto the iPod – chose to put a rude spoof version of Britney Spears' track, "Oops, I did it again.".

It appears Royal Mail managers didn't get the joke, confiscated the iPod and launched disciplinary action.

Staff are furious, with one telling their local newspaper: "We're up in arms about the destruction of our beloved communal iPod."
