DJ-1800 3.1 offers iPhone/iPod touch-friendly features
iPhone and DJ controller support has arrived with the launch of the DJ-1800 3.1 software.
The DJ software offers many new features and enhancement, led by iPhone support which enable DJs to mix music stored on any iPhone or iPod touch.
The new version also adds support for new DJ controllers from Denon, Numark and M-Audio, and enables users to create their own plug-ins for any hardware controller.
Additional improvements include a new mid-range EQ control; user-definable low, mid and hi EQ ranges of up to -20 dB / +12 dB, and support for the Denon DN-HC4500, M-Audio X-Session Pro, Numark DMC2, Numark iCDX and Numark Total Control.
A fully-featured demo of DJ-1800 is available to download for trial, the full version costs $80.
