- Cons: No control over how effects are applied; not enough variety in grunge and distortion

- Star rating:
Digital is great, except that it’s just too nice and clean. Programs like Analog are here to grunge things up with 23 filter effects and 15 borders.
The interface is simplicity itself – just drag and drop a photo in, click on a filter to preview it, then click on the export options or save to finalise it.
The filters cover standards like Holga and Lomo, though they use different names, as well as a variety of colour shifts and tones, light leaks and surface erosion options.
There’s an opacity slider to tweak the effect and if you deselect then reselect the effect it’s often applied in a different way.

Nice light leaks and messed-up colours but not a lot of control in the process
