While the odd bargain or two can be found on the Refurbished Mac and Refurbished iPod sections of Apple's website, they currently appears to be a glut of discounted MacBooks available.

Savings average between 13 per cent for a Refurbished MacBook Pro 2.53GHz Intel Core 2 Duo to 29 per cent for a Refurbished MacBook Pro 2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Duo laptop.

Some may suggest the discounted deals might hint at a imminent update of MacBooks models and specs along with the anticipated iPod updates. In a few hours, all might be revealed. Meanwhile take a look at the deals on offer here.

"Does refurbished MacBook glut point to imminent refresh?" - or maybe lots of returns.
