Eagle-eyed UK Mac watchers may have noticed that Apple holds a special one-day annual shopping event the day after Thanksgiving for its US customers.
UK Mac users may have felt slighted at the US-only shopping day, when Apple offers decent discounts on its products sold at its retail stores for a day.
We needn't have felt this way - Apple is holding the UK equivalent of its 'Black Friday' US post-Thanksgiving sales day in the UK this week - on 1 December.
"Ready. Steady. Shop. Don't miss our special one-day shopping event," urges Apple on a new page on its website.
The company isn't being specific about any special offers it may supply to in-store shoppers on the day, but is promising that the stores will host live DJs all day with a "live musical performance at 7pm in every store".
Apple also plans the grand reopening of its flagship Regent Street store on 1 December: following months of renovation work the company will reopen its first floor. To celebrate this, the company will also host DJs and a live act on 2 December. (Unkle Jam on 1 December, RexRadio on 2 December).
More details of in-store events at the store nearest you are available from Apple's retail web pages, here.
