An Apple Premium Reseller money off deal, running until 17 June may indicate that new MacBook Pro will ship after that date.

Apple is allowing its Premium Resellers to offer £100 of a new Mac when customers trade in their old PC or Mac until 17 June.

The deal may lead some Mac fans to consider purchasing a new Mac before Apple is expected to launch new models of the MacBook Pro and Mountain Lion at WWDC on Monday 11 June. Perhaps the Sunday 17 June cut off date indicates that the new models will be available in Apple Stores the following week.

The offer applies to the Mac Pro, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, and iMac. However, purchases of the Mac mini do not qualify for the £100 off.

The old computer doesn’t have to be working, or come with a mouse or keyboard.

The deal is not available to business or education customers.

The old computer is then recycled at a European recycling centre.

The offer will end on 17 June and is available at AT Computer stores in Worcester, Swansea and Shrewsbury.

The deal is also available at Stormfront stores in Plymouth, Salisbury, Maidstone, Wimbledon, Windsor, Bury St. Edmunds, Romford, York, Dundee, Inverness, Newbury, Carlisle and Lincoln.

AT Computers is promoting the deal on its site, as is Stormfront. Not all Premium Resellers are taking part in the deal.

"Get £100 of new Macs in Apple scheme"

So is that a scheme where you can get about 10% of a new Mac...?
