Some laptop users complain Leopard is devouring battery life
Some Mac users are complaining that installing Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard on their laptop has led to lower battery life, a report claims.
Information Week cites anecdotal complaints from some users who reckon that battery drain is faster since they made the move to the new OS.
These claims aren't made in isolation: dozens exist within Apple's Leopard support forum.
Some claim battery life has shrunk by a third, leading to speculation that Leopard's graphic interface may be the culprit.
However one user claimed to get past the problem by completely draining and recharging his Mac battery twice.
