Apple updated update addresses Safari problems
Apple has released an updated version of its recently-released Security Update.
Available for Leopard and Tiger systems, Apple issued the revised set of patches (three are available) in order to address a Safari problem created by the previous version of the same patch.
Multiple reports claimed Security Update 2007-009 caused Safari to crash when loading certain websites once the patch was installed. Security Update 2007-009 1.1 puts Safari right again,
"Security Update 2007-009 v1.1 addresses an issue introduced in Security Update 2007-009 that may cause Safari to unexpectedly quit when browsing to certain websites," Apple said.
Apple also revised an update to the Windows version of Safari to patch that edition for the same problem.
For Mac users, the updated patch is available using Software Update, or directly from this part of the company's Downloads website.
