Apple also updated Mac OS X Server to version 10.6.2
Apple has updated Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard to 10.6.2 fixing a number of bugs including a serious issue that could result in data loss when using a guest account, potentially wiping files.
The update addresses issues with new iMacs, highlighted on several Apple Discussions threads including jerky unresponsive Flash playback on websites such as YouTube.

According to Apple's own notes:

More useful fixes in 1 release that Microsoft have done in ~5 years of de-engineering their OS so it never works, so you keep paying top price for the 'next' one. They made the 'mistake' of making XP work too well and couldn't kill it, thus illustrating their 'deprecation model' inner workings. Seems as though Apple actually care that their products works flawlessly.

What cack. A flawless product would not delete a users data and flawless programmers would not have just copied the code blindly from Leopard. They only have one set of hardware to work for and do an appalling job at times. The iPhone updates are no better.
They need to open the Beta testing for all products to a larger audience.

I downgraded from Snow Leopard simply because of flash it was terrible, fans storming on YouTube videos and everything, back on Leopard wondering whether these fixes will be enough. ClickToFlash helps alot tho!

I'm another user that "downgraded" back to Leopard after 10.6.1. The only issue that I had was that my wireless connection drops every couple of minutes making browsing unusable. I'll update my work MacBook and hope that the latest update addresses this issue though there is no mention of this in the details. I was really hoping that 10.6.2 would address this.

Who mentioned Windows? Why can't Mac users talk about their OS without having a go at windows. (And I'm not spelling it Windoze cos I don't want to look like a twat). I've had a mac for a couple of months now and it's great - if you like everything to work the Apple want it to work.

When is the fix coming for those of us having 'editing' trouble with Snow Leopard Iphoto - eg red @ green lines

No problems so far for me with the 10.6.2 update on either my MBP or MBA both working fine. Safari seems a lot more stable now.
