Thu, 07 Jun 2007 Macworld Readers Awards Nominees Announcement
Who has been nominated for this year's Macworld Readers Awards?
You Macworld UK readers know a thing or two, so now the final suggestions had been analysed, we thought you would like to know the products and companies you have nominated for this year's Reader Awards.
Now in their twelfth year, the awards, voted on by Macworld readers and Editors, are considered a benchmark across the industry. The awards are designed to recognise those products and vendors which have made a significant contribution throughout the past year.
"Macworld's reader nominations are a great chance to find out what the public really thinks. The results are often surprising, even to stalwart industry-watchers such as ourselves," said Macworld editor, Mark Hattersley.
"This year's nominations were livelier than ever. Our vast readership sent in their nominations online and with over 300,000 unique individuals a month visiting the Macworld site, we have had one of the best responses ever. Every company that receives a reader nomination should feel proud of the level of support it has received from its customers. Receiving a Macworld nomination is a sign of world-class excellence," he explained.
The ceremony takes place at London's Gibson Hall on the night of 28 June, when winners in all 21 categories will be revealed. This year, the awards are sponsored by ZCover, JBL, STM, Harman/Kardon, AMCC Storage and iLuv/Noble Distribution.
