Safari 6 review

Safari remains one of the best ways to experience the web, and the new features are both visually pretty and useful. The speed drop for Lion users will be annoying, and developers aren't too happy with the new developer tools; but the rest of us will find it a good step forward.

Violet Storm review

Violet Storm isn’t a strict Asteroid clone, as you’re fending off waves of enemy ships rather than simply blowing up lumps of wandering space-rock, but it does capture something of the frantic shoot-em-up feel of my old favourite.

Coda 2 review

LiveCode 5.5 review  Editors Choice

LiveCode 5.5 is what we imagine that old Apple freebie, Hypercard, would be like today. It has a similar drag and drop interface, the same card metaphor for application screens and object based programming tools. It can even import old HyperCard stacks.
