Although the option remains for the now-independent Halo developer, Bungie executives say they're sticking with Microsoft's Xbox 360, for now.
"We have no plans to work on any other platforms beyond 360 at this time," said Bungie's lead writer, Frank O'Connor, when responding to a fan inquiry on Eurogamer.
Production director Jonty Barnes added: "We're really focused on continuing our collaboration in making the best games we can, and that right now is on the Xbox 360. It's our hope this relationship continues to be our strongest one, as we have a lot of respect for the people we have worked with at Microsoft."
In October, Bungie and Microsoft parted ways less than two weeks after the release of Halo 3. At the time, the developer responded by saying "anything's possible" to questions if it would make games for Sony and Nintendo platforms.
