Apple has finally released iTunes 11, the software is now available for download via Software Update inside the Mac App Store.
iTunes 11 is a comprehensive update to the iTunes software, and introduces a completely redesigned interface and range of new features.
Software Update lists the following new features:
- Completely Redesigned.
- A New Store
- Play purchases from iCloud. Now you can play music as soon as you purchase it from the iTunes Store without having to wait for it to download.
- Up Next. A new feature that enables you to select upcoming songs.
- New MiniPlayer. A whole new player that shows album art and enables you to view Up Next tracks.
- Improved Search.
- Playback Syncing. iCloud now remembers your position in movies and TV shows.
Users can download the software by clicking on Apple > Software update or by downloading the update direct from the Apple iTunes 11 Support page.

I think that the new iTunes 11 interface needs texturing, otherwise it;s great!

Why does your "interface" button above (as in "click HERE to look at iTunes new interface", right??), take me to a Microsoft Windows website - have you been hacked?

That has to be the funniest comment I've seen on a forum. I guess if you don't know, you don't know. That's keyword advertisement placement and is no doubt generated on the fly based on the keywords in a paragraph of text.

Wish they would just leave things alone its not better just different & have to find way around again. How do you halt or pause a download with this version? Nothing on this in help
