Manufacturer: Luxology
Pros: Massive upgrade, Topology pen, Alembic support, more options on render passes, lots of new animation features, inverse kinematics, dealing with UV maps improved, new skin and hair shaders and powerful materials system.
Cons: A number of bugs in the initial release, steep learning curve, viewport navigation isn’t the best, slow to render, can’t use material/shader driven schematics, materials preview needs work, workflow not as good as May/3ds Max.
