- Star rating:

Writing is done in the Draft section, where you can add as many subfolders and text sections as you like. Name them as you go, arranging them with folders where appropriate. You can import text from a word processor if you prefer. The status of each element can be individually set; from first draft to finished page. Click the Draft heading and you’re taken to the Corkboard.
Crucially, the corkboard isn’t just a reflection of your work in progress, but can be used to rearrange workflow. For example, if chapter is broken down into a sequence of events, you can rearrange it by moving around the index cards. Outline mode, meanwhile, shows the structure of work in detailed list, allowing you to assign a point of view to each section.
The Research hierarchy works in the same way. Here you can store research snippets in a variety of formats, and they’re accessible through the same interface so that you don’t have to juggle between windows as you create your masterpiece.
