ABBYY Business Card Reader 3.0 for iPhone automatically transfers information from business cards directly to the iPhone address book, allowing users not only to create new contact records, but also to update existing ones.
Making best use of the iPhone's camera and ABBYY's text recognition technology, the application intelligently locates each type of contact information insists the company - including name, phone numbers, and email details - on a card and saves it into proper data fields.
ABBYY Business Card Reader 3.0 also offers the ability to search across social networks such as Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook, as well as in Hoover’s business database, directly from within the application for contacts and potential contacts.
Additionally, the application reads text in 17 languages including multilingual business cards.
