Adobe has updated its Photoshop Lightroom software to version 4.4, bringing digital photographers additional camera raw support and lens profile support while also fixing some bugs.

Adobe announced the availability of the final release of the Lightroom 4.4 update on its blog this week, highlighting that the new version adds camera support for 25 new cameras including the Canon EOS 1D C, Nikon Coolpix A and Samsung NX300, and 17 new lens profiles.

Lightroom 4.4 also brings updates to the imaging algorithm for the Fuji X-Trans sensor, which aims to improve the raw file support for X-Trans cameras such as the Fuji X-Pro1 and Fuji X-E1.

The default white balance for several Nikon camera models has also been adjusted.
