The American Customer Satisfaction Index has once again found Apple customers are happy customers.
The Associated Press reports Apple totaled 78 out of 100 for the past 12 months, up 3 points on 2009, and the highest score ever with the exception of the baseline 1994 score.
Dell, HP, Sony and Toshiba also all scored well, the ACSI believing Microsoft's latest operating system Windows 7 had helped boost consumer satisfaction.
ACSI reports scores on a 0-100 scale at the national US level and produces indexes for 10 economic sectors, 45 industries - including e-commerce and e-business - and more than 225 companies and US federal or local government agencies.
The survey was created by the University of Michigan but is now run by a private company AP adds.
