Apple has changed its white logo to a red logo at its flagship Fifth Avenue Apple retail store.

The move is thought to mark Apple's decision to help raise funds to fight AIDS, TB and malaria in Africa with the release of a special edition red iPod.

The iPod - announced this morning - is a 4GB iPod nano and costs $199. Ten dollars in every sale is being contributed to the (Product) Red campaign to raise funds to fight such diseases.
