Apple has moved to deny reports claiming shipments of the Apple TV device will be delayed until March.

A company spokesman told VNUNet that the company still plans to release the device in February.

The news followed a report on ThinkSecret to that effect, and Macworld's own information is that review units of the product wouldn't appear until after the device was originally intended to ship, adding some support to the claims.

However, the VNU report does point out that while "any advance orders" seem set to ship in February, actual hardware may not reach comsumers until March.

Clearly the device seems set to ship in quantity next month.
