Apple has settled a US class action lawsuit regarding quality issues with its 17-inch LCD Studio Displays.
The action related to displays manufactured around May 2001. The lawsuit had alleged faults in these displays that caused gradient dimming at the top or bottom of the screen.
Apple has denied any fault on its part, but has agreed an amicable settlement out of court. The company is offering a cash refund to customers who paid for a repair, AppleInsider reports.
The settlement only applies to US customers.
