The Apple Store is down, now displaying its "We'll be back" sign, as the countdown to the company's WWDC 2013 keynote begins.

Apple says it is "busy updating the Apple Store for you and will be back soon," so we expect it to come back online once the keynote has finished and Apple has spilled its secrets about the future of iOS and OS X.

The keynote is set to kick off at 6pm BST, and we'll be covering it live. We also have a live blog of the keynote, which you can follow for the latest news and reactions to that news.

We expect that Apple will use today's keynote to show off iOS 7 and OS X 10.9, and maybe also some new Macs and an iRadio music streaming service.
